Maybe one more voting day left (and I’ve yet to write anything) before the “H” stories voting closes and the “I” stories go live. If leaning toward it, please read the “H” Alphabet Challenge Stories. After, if receptive to the idea, the writers hope you’ll make the effort and vote for your favorite HERE.<<<this is a link
That post has links to the individual stories and the poll where readers can click a box to indicate their appreciation for their favorite.
If you’ve already voted, thank you. If you’ve already forced your friends to read and vote, excellent!
Here’s the bird from yesterday . . . a Ruby-throated Hummingbird:<<<this is a link This is a shot I shared yesterday but I played around in Plotaverse (which won’t show in some devices) . . .
Yesterday I mentioned I have a few videos . . . This is a forty-seconds clip of the longer video below. . .
I used the Nikon editor to “capture” frames of that video and show them below. They are in the gallery below and are also in the SmugMug Gallery HERE.
My current process (in some situations) is to shoot 4K video and then extract frames and process them.
That’s what you’re seeing in the following gallery and it gives you the opportunity to see what actually happens. You can click through the gallery and watch it as a stop-animation piece. If you are familiar with YouTube controls, you can also slow the video replay, but I still think the saved frames are better for seeing details.
The full video I took is about two-and-a-half minutes (much longer than modern human’s attention span) but it’s below for the three people who will actually watch it.
Please excuse the noise; there were neighbors mowing the lawn and my A/C was running (the unit is about 15 feet to my right).
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
