So, one of the blogs I follow<<link is participating in a Travel Challenge where you get nominated “to post one favourite {sic} travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate.”
Andrew was kind enough to ask if I wanted to be nominated to which I responded that I’m uncomfortable nominating others and hence it wouldn’t conform to the spirit of the challenge . . . and another blogger<<link commented that one doesn’t have to nominate someone to participate.
I like the idea but wanted to spin it differently.
So, this will be a series of photos where readers are invited to guess the location. Some photos will be easy for regular and long-term readers of this blog. Some photos can be identified by searching Google Photos for a matching photo. Some photos might be identifiable by searching this blog and its 3,647,851 photos (for retired folks only). You can choose your answer — even if only a guess — from the choices in the poll at the bottom. You can also further expand on the identification in the comments section below.
All of the photos will be collected in THIS<<link SmugMug Gallery. Each new post will identify the previous post’s photo.
OK, here we go . . . oh, one more thing. Yes, only one photo, but at least two (and occasionally more) versions. I told you I do things differently.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
