Fawn and “L” stories voting reminder

Hmm . . . I lost track of time. I thought we had another week for the end of the “L” stories voting . . . au contraire, mes chers lecteurs.

We’re in the final days of the voting period, with the pressure of an “M” contribution breathing down my neck.

You have no obligation to do anything . . . but it sure would be swell — if you’ve not already done so — if you would read the stories and cast your vote for your favorite of the three. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge L-Stories” are HERE.<<<Link

Alas, I don’t have much time to compose this post . . . so, how about a preview of a future post featuring the fawn that’s been hanging around?.

It was checking out our patio and I got numerous photos and a decent video. The mother is just off frame, so no worries that it’s on its own.

Just one more photo for now . . .

You can see the two full-size photos in the SmugMug Gallery HERE.<<<Link

Note: the light was poor and I was shooting through a window . . . it’s not bad, but don’t expect pixel-perfect. Still, click on the photos for a larger version.

I know some (mighty few) people miss my long posts . . . but, if you are one of the few, there are many posts worth revisiting. THIS POST<<link from 2015, for example. WARNING: don’t click on the link if you’re hungry.

Or, you could read THIS POST<<link about writing Romance. WARNING: don’t click on the link if you’re a fan of Romance.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

        1. I was sure you’d know which Flower I was referring to! Great minds think alike. And thanks for the clip!

Mom and I are doing just fine, thank you for inquiring, Carolyn. Hope you’re staying safe and doing things that you enjoy.

Mom’s busy making lovely cross-stitch pieces (Emilio took photos of many of her little masterpieces, so I’m sure one day he’ll share them with the world . . . well, his blog world). And I’m practicing my watercolor painting . . . putting in all those brush miles! One of the greatest benefits is having Emilio’s large photographic library for inspiration. But I’ll need at least several lifetimes to paint just the tip of his photo-berg!

        2. HA! Yes. Great minds! 😉
          You’re welcome!

I think of you and your Mom often. And I always hope you are doing well.

We are trying to stay safe and well. So far, so good. 🙂

Oh, I hope he does share the cross-stitch pieces with us! I’d like to see them! My daughter and DIL do all kinds of sewing and stitchery.

I’d love to see your watercolor paintings, too! My fav art medium is watercolor. I think it is more beautiful, and emotion-evoking, than other kinds/ways to paint. 🙂

Yes, Emilio has so many wonderful photos! Great inspiration, for sure!

You are a VERY artistic family! 🙂

          (((HUGS))) and please take care!

  1. Oh! What a precious little fawn! And I love all of the colors and plants surrounding the dear deer! 🙂

    Ooh! M-stories! Now I’m thinking of titles…
    Maschalephidrosis ???
    Mudscutcheon ???
    Magnanerie ???
    Monkery ???
    Mosquitoy ???

    (((HUGS)))
PS…okay. I made up that last word.

    1. Thank you, Carolyn. As a matter of fact, it ran by this morning in the backyard as I was out there having a coffee while it was still bearable (less than 100° F).

As for the story . . . methinks meandering minds might manifest mighty memorable M monikers . . . but plots ideas are what I’m searching for. I can always fit an appropriate title to it after the fact. But thanks for the interesting words . . . even the made-up one.
