It’s time for the review of the previous month’s photographic and artistic offerings.
That’s not one of them. That’s from a July 2014 post about Robber Flies (what’s depicted above).
This past month contained a fair amount of post-processing adventures using various tools but primarily the Topaz Plugins Suite. I previously separated original photos from renderings, but I figure it works best if they are mixed.
If you want to ensure a particular photo is included in future reviews, mention it in the comments of the post where it appeared.
These are not in order of appearance. Random is a thing with these galleries.
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so. I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards. I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way. That would mean something to me.

Finally, if you interpret anything on this blog as me asking or wanting pity, sympathy, or complaining about my life, or asking for help and advice, know you’re likely missing my subtle mix of irony, sarcasm, and humor.
I kike that shot of the palm trees. We don’t have many trees like that here.

Thank you. There are a lot of them here, but mostly in the populated areas and especially the resorts (they are not native to the islands).

This is a great variety of pics, but the color and unique processing sure stand out on that buffalo shot. Though the pitcher has the great composition and color reminiscent of the Renaissance painters.

Thanks. That’s one of the Google ones and I’m not sure I could recreate that in others. Then again, most of the artsy processing I do ends up being unique to a particular shot.

Beautiful pictures! Even the furry fly sort of creature.

The Robber Fly is impressive . . . scary, but impressive. There are more shots of it in the original post.

You really do need to get something to do with your time instead of playing silly buggers with pictures. 🙂

Could be . . . but what should we say about you spending time monitoring what I do?
I mean, how wasteful is it spending time watching someone you think is not doing anything worthwhile? There are literally millions of blogs; surely some of them must be doing something that meets with your approval.
I only mention it because I’m not likely to change much in my modus operandi.

You’re the only bloke I know of that’s more stubborn and egotistical than I am 🙂

Egotistical? Moi?
. . . I’m too perfect to be egotistical.
Stubborn?
No matter the evidence, I will deny it from now until the sun expands beyond this rock and renders all traces of human existence to cinders.
