Alphabet Challenge “T” Stories voting results

The polls for the”T” Stories are now closed.

You can check the results of the voting HERE<<link. Since few people click on links, here are the results.

Here’s a photo before I continue . . .

It’s a heron Processed with Nik Collection Color Efex Pro 4.

So, what does the voting mean for the writers? Well, outside of a few bragging rights, not much. But, let’s proceed with the reveals, the answer to “Who wrote which stories?” question.

T” Stories writers and scoring:

Thomas’s Promise(link): That would be Gary. He gets 3 points for the first-place finish.

The Trail(link): That would be Perry. He gets 2 points for the second-place finish.

Trust(link): That would be me. I get 1 point for the third-place finish.

With 36 votes cast, I consider this a excellent voting round.

Obviously, readers appreciated the humor and touch of sadness of the winning short story. Gary did a good job of weaving the story and delivering a twist at the end.

The votig was pretty close until the last two days, when Thomas’s Promise pulled ahead. There were a few days when the three stories were tied, and I’ve had readers report that they thought this was one of the better rounds.

So, what are the standings? Well, with the win, Gary pulls ahead. The race is a bit tighter than it was a few weeks ago and after 20 weeks, it’s still close and up for grabs.

There are a total of 6 rounds remaining. The maximum number of points any one writer can earn from here on — presuming they win all remaining rounds — is 18.

Anyway, the earliest the “U” stories are likely to go live is sometimes tomorrow but likely on Monday.

Take care of yourselves first, and if these offerings don’t sit well on your plate, that’s fine. Regardless of your participation, thank you for stopping by.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
