Another Halloween . . . not that we celebrate, but I used to write Halloween short stories. Not always, but I at least offered up a graphic or photo.

The last few years, I used the free PanosFx Spooky Halloween Photoshop Action to create the graphics. You can find some of the posts (and read past stories) by searching my blog for Halloween.

This year, I used photos I’ve been gathering for the last few months (from stores and antique malls) and a tree from Hawaiʻi, and about an hour on Photoshop to create this:

Occasionally, I do stuff for Halloween. I might do a picture, or write a story, or both. Once again, this year it’s both. But, like last year, I’m not doing a photo. Rather, again I used a free action from PanosFX.  Everything in that picture was positioned and scaled by me. He does good work, he does.

Also, I realize that I’m running late. In parts of the country, Halloween is already over. Mea culpa as I had other things to do and didn’t start writing until four o’clock my time. That means three hours for doing the above picture, eating dinner, and writing the story below.

That is obviously not a photo. Would you believe I made that in like ten minutes in Photoshop? Yup. Ten minutes, maybe less.

The story below took a bit longer.
