The Alphabet Challenge: “Z” Stories Voting

Assuming everyone has read the stories, this is the place where you can vote for your favorite of the “Z” Stories.

For readers who stumbled here or who need a refresher, the stories can be found by clicking on their respective names.

Here are the links to the stories:

The Zen of Whiskers<<link

Z-Man<<link

All readers have to do is read each story and choose the one they liked best. Voting is open for two weeks from the date of publication.

For this round, the voting will close at Noon on Thursday, April 8th.

As a reminder, to have your vote count, click on the circle next to the story you’re voting for, and then click on “Vote”. If you don’t click on “Vote”, your choice won’t be recorded.

If you would like to leave a comment for the writers — either here or with the individual stories posts — please do so. I will forward each comment/question to the appropriate writer and will post their reply.

The writers will appreciate hearing from you and will likely respond.

There is no “next round” as this is the last round of the challenge.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. To me, these three were the most difficult to choose from this entire year. But in the end I felt a tug from the one which carried the weight, and guessing it was authored by yourself, (just noting that assumption, and not particularly that THAT was my reason for my vote.) I’d like to add here that all three authors over this year, really impressed me with their individual talents. To write just one such story, of even shorter length, would be way beyond me, no less to crank out so many, so often is certainly a tribute to the talent and abilities of yourself, and the others. Many thanks for the opportunity to be part of this challenge …from the readers standpoint. M 🙂

    1. Thank you, mvschulze.

Of course, I can’t confirm who wrote what, and I don’t know who you voted for, but it’s been my contention that after about three or four rounds, readers could pretty much guess who wrote what given the different writing styles.

I’ll direct the other writers to your comment as I’m sure they will appreciate the praise.

    2. Actually, I can tell the area the votes came from, and since there is only one vote from each area . . . you didn’t vote for mine, and that’s perfectly fine; I told the other writers that it will be a race between them and that I would be out of it.

All three stories now have one vote . . . so I’m not giving anything away to anyone else.
