Midway “V” stories voting reminder . . . and a few photos

The “V” stories voting block asked me to intercede on its behalf. Apparently, it doesn’t know why it’s in the doghouse with voters. I tried to explain this is a bad time of year — and a bad year overall — but this voting block is really insecure and would have none of it and wanted me to plead readers for more reading and voting.

Now, me, I don’t like doing that. I figure these stories have to stand on their own, and if there’s no word-of-mouth traffic generated by the few readers we’ve had, well, then, there’s nothing I can do about it . . .

. . . except thanking them who voted for standing up for their favorite of the three stories. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge V-Stories” are HERE(link) Votes will be accepted until  Noon (Central Time) on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Just a few photos today . . . .

The photos in this post are all from the lanai of the first condo we lived in while on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi.

Those are also fairly common birds (but not as common as myna birds).

I only saw those birds a few times . . . I mean, birds like those, and not those specific birds . . . although I did see those specific birds because — duh! — I have a photo of them.

But these birds; yeah, I would see them fairly often, but they tried their darndest to keep me from getting a decent photo of them . . .

And that’s it for this post . . .

This LINK will take you to the SmugMug gallery that has the full-size versions of the above and also photos in recent reminder posts.

Oh . . . I should link a few old posts just to flesh out this offering . . . how about THIS<<link and THIS<<link to posts that are just me rambling on about stuff? That’s great, you say? . . . you’re not even gonna click on them are you? Oh, well . . . c’est la vie.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
