A quick “V” stories voting reminder . . . and Moon photos

As predicted, the “V” stories voting stalled as people celebrated various religious holidays. It’s likely to stall again as we hit the next holiday in the span of one week. That’s fine; family and friends first, then food, then — if there’s any energy left — reading and voting.

For them who take the time to read our stories and vote for their favorite, thank you in advance. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge V-Stories” are HERE(link) Votes will be accepted until  Noon (Central Time) on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

As usual, I’m pressed for time, so here’s a quick gallery of various phases of the moon photos snapped in between getting photos of the Great Conjunction . . . I actually started with the full moon, but the sequence looks better if the full moon is last. The middle two photos were shot with the camera on a tripod. The first and last, handheld.

This LINK will take you to the SmugMug gallery that has the full-size versions of the above and also photos in recent reminder posts. Note that these are not great photos for pixel-peeping.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
