As predicted, the “V” stories voting stalled as people celebrated various religious holidays. It’s likely to stall again as we hit the next holiday in the span of one week. That’s fine; family and friends first, then food, then — if there’s any energy left — reading and voting.

As usual, I’m pressed for time, so here’s a quick gallery of various phases of the moon photos snapped in between getting photos of the Great Conjunction . . . I actually started with the full moon, but the sequence looks better if the full moon is last. The middle two photos were shot with the camera on a tripod. The first and last, handheld.
