It’s Thanksgiving. It’s one of those holidays that I pay little attention to . . . oh, wait . . . that’s all the holidays. I mean, I’m aware of them, but they mean very little to me. Mostly because I don’t need the excuse of a holiday to remember I’m thankful for family, friends, readers, nutella, etc.
But, it’s nice to remind people that yes, they are appreciated. As such, Happy Thanksgiving to all, and thank you for being a part of my life’s moments.
In addition to the wishes and thanks, I’d like to announce that we’re extending the deadline for voting on the stories by a day. I mean, between recouping from all the food and trying to land Black Friday deals, it’s possible our little challenge might fall through the cracks. So, an extra day you get. .
If you are a reader of our stories and someone who votes, thank you in advance for casting a vote for your favorite of the three. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge T-Stories” are HERE(link) Votes will be accepted until noon, Chicago time, on Sunday Saturday, November 28th.
Also in celebration of the holidays, let’s talk turkeys.
That be some turkeys trying to keep it on the down and low.
Not much luck of that because I have a keen eye and a camera.

Actually, neither of us are big on turkey meals. In past thanksgivings, we had other fare. Like, for example, LINK, LINK, LINK. Maybe I’ll snap a few photos of tomorrow’s meal.
Them who plan on serving turkey have a lot to do tomorrow today (I wrote this last night). If you are new at it, here’s a quick visual on how to stuff a turkey . . .
Well, that’s about all the help I can provide.
I know that many people cancelled their planned Thanksgiving gatherings (smart) and others still plan to get together (be careful).
No matter which camp you’re in, I hope all of you will have a great Thanksgiving. Stay safe.
Oh, and just for tomorrow, I wouldn’t bother with the salad. Have an extra slice of pie, instead.
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
