Edited to add: I’ve labeled each picture with numbers. If you have a question about any of the steps, refer to the picture number and I’ll try to answer it.
AFTER READING MANY COMPLAINTS FROM WP USERS WHO DON’T LIKE THE BLOCK EDITOR, I DECIDED TO DO THIS POST.
NOTE THAT ALL OF THE SCREENSHOTS ARE FROM A FREE BLOG, SO WHAT I’M SHOWING IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE (AS FAR AS I KNOW).
BEGIN BY GOING TO YOUR DASHBOARD.

PER EVERYTHING I KNOW, THIS IS THE CLASSIC EDITOR, OR AT LEAST WHAT I CALL THE CLASSIC EDITOR.
Edited to add: slides 10 and 11 are only for people who want to edit in HTML mode. Ignore if that’s not you.

INSERTING PHOTOS

IF YOU HAVE SPECIFIC QUESTIONS, ASK BELOW AND I’ll TRY TO ANSWER THEM (TIME AND NUMBER OF QUESTIONS PERMITTING).
