The Alphabet Challenge “O” Stories voting got a couple more votes but still trails badly compared to the stories from the last round. I’m going to try a bit of reverse psychology and not ask anyone to vote.
If you are one such reader — and if you’ve not already done so — I won’t tell you to read the stories and certainly won’t suggest you then cast a vote for your favorite of the three. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge O-Stories” are HERE.<<<Link
See if you can figure out what this is . . .
I assume everyone will recognize the familiar scene from the waterfront. not the movie, but an actual waterfront.
And, this is another scene easily recognizable courtesy of a few familiar elements.
Remember how I mentioned Project 313 in yesterday’s post? Well, I tell you what . . . I got lost reading the first twenty posts or so.
Want to know what I figured out? Well, I’ll tell you anyway. I was a gorsh durn funny writer. I say “was” because I don’t know if I can write like that again.
Now, I should qualify that statement . . . if you have a sense of humor similar to my own (appreciative of subtle and amazing cleverness), then, by golly, you’ll love my Project 313 posts.
I don’t know if I kept it up, but man, Project 313 started out as pure gold, I tell you what. I just hope it kept it up for the whole 313 posts.
Here’s the reworking of an old favorite photo of mine . . .
It looks like something out of the lesser Star Trek movies . . . but no; it’s a yucca plant seed with a salsify seed in its maws.
And here is a less organic offering . . . it also previously appeared on this blog, but with a different “look” — more realistic and representative of how it looks in person.
A few might recognize it. But, whether recognized or not, I hope it’s enjoyable to view.
The new Gallery for the reminder photos is HERE<<<Link. The photos are only slightly larger (30-50%) but the details are even better there than here.
For them who have already read and voted, a different kind of treat . . .
. . . HERE<<link is a link to a post from 2012. A bunch of Western scenery.
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
