Acorns for “O” stories voting

The Alphabet Challenge “O” Stories voting has hit a bit of a Big-Time lull . . . but, if willing readers are up to it, we can get it going once again with just a moderate a hefty push shove.

If you are one such reader, and if you’ve not already done so — please read the stories and then cast a vote for your favorite of the three. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge O-Stories” are HERE.<<link

So, acorns<<link . . . harbingers of mighty Oaks<<link . . .

I shot some photos in my make-shift studio, and that’s one of the series of photos of acorns I collected during a few of our walks.

A bit of Topaz magic dust and you get a decent picture.

A bit too much, and you get . . . well, it’s interesting, but maybe not as wall-hangable.

It’s gotten hot here again, and it occurred to me I could use a nice oak in the back yard, providing shade for the patio from the afternoon and evening sun . . . so I threw a couple out there hoping at least one will germinate . . .

. . . I can practically feel the shade from oak leaves now.

The new Gallery of reminders photos is HERE<<<Link. The photos are only slightly larger (30-50%) but the details are even better there than here.

For them who have already read and voted, a different kind of treat . . .

. . . HERE<<link is a link to a post from 2015. Lots of hot air.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
