Third X Two reminder for “N” stories voting

The Alphabet Challenge “N” Stories voting has entered the doldrums period. Yup, during every round, there’s a point where voting stalls and the poll languishes in solitude with nary a click to keep it company.

You have no obligation to do anything . . . but it sure would be swell — if you’ve not already done so — if you would read the stories and cast your vote for your favorite of the three. Links to the stories and the poll for voting for “Alphabet Challenge N-Stories” are HERE.<<<Link

Here are a few photos more photos from Hawaiʻi . . .

That’s another photo from The Big Island. Specifically, a view of the water from Aliʻi Drive. Even more specifically, taken while we sat in the car during one of the many backups one has to contend with when traveling Aliʻi Drive. That’s where all the shops are, the tourists are, and the main road for accessing the shore in Kailua Kona.

If you’re going to be stuck in traffic, there could be much worse places.

There’s another place I used to like visiting. Just south of the Airport, there is a stretch of shoreline (Wawaloli Beach Park<<link) where I often went to watch (and photograph<<link) big waves.

Of course, often it was calm . . .

Some might wonder if we miss Hawaiʻi.

There are things and people we miss from all the places where we lived. But, if truth be told, I think the Islands would be a worrisome place to be during this pandemic thing. Part of the reason we left was our concern about health care. Not that it was awful, but neither was it comforting when even routine things were difficult to schedule.

Anyway, we had two-and-a-half years of relaxation and enjoyment, and the company of good friends. Plus, we loved the flora and landscape and got to see things you don’t see on the mainland. Anyway, let me wrap this up with some leaves and flowers.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we’re halfway through The Alphabet Challenge and the gallery where I’ve been uploading these photos now has over 500 offerings (HERE<<<Link). That’s a link to the first photo, and you can scroll through all 500+ photos if you got nothing else to do. I’ll remind readers for a few more posts, even if no one clicks on the link.

The new Gallery for the reminder photos is HERE<<<Link

I know some (mighty few) people miss my long posts . . . if you are one of the few, the brave, and you want to learn how to add frames to a photo using Photoshop, THIS POST<<link from 2018 is for you.

And, if that post about frames wasn’t enough, THIS POST<<link add a bit more.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
