Alphabet Challenge “M” Stories voting results

The polls for the”M” Stories are now closed. Soon, the “N” Stories will go live.

You can check the results of the voting HERE<<link (M Stories). But, as I know no one cares, I’ll force the results onto you now.

Here’s a photo before I continue . . .

It’s leaves from the Volcano Village in the Big Island of Hawaiʻi treated to Topaz Impression 2.0 and Restyle, and framed using Topaz Studio 1.0.

So, what does the voting mean for the writers? Well, outside of a few bragging rights, not much. But, let’s proceed with the reveals, the answer to “Who wrote which stories?” question.

M” Stories writers and scoring:

Martha’s Morals: That would be Gary. He gets 3 points for the first-place finish.

Monster: That would be me. I get 2 points for the second-place finish.

Missiles: That would be Perry. He gets 1 point for the third-place finish.

With 23 votes cast, I consider this a good voting round.

Gary obviously touched plunged into the nostalgia pool with a story that resonated with a lot of people.

Gary is definitively making his move, pulling well ahead of the others.

And I’m glad to see over twenty votes cast for the second week in a row. Given all that’s going on in the world, a decent turnout.

So, what are the standings?

Gary’s consistency has him in a comfortable lead. It will be difficult to catch him, but I’m sure Perry will give it a go.

By the way, this is the halfway mark for the competition, with 13 rounds done and 13 rounds to go.

Anyway, the earliest the “N” stories are likely to go live is sometimes tomorrow. This is predicated on us writers finishing our stories . . . or, as is always the case, me writing a story between now and tomorrow.

Take care of yourselves first, and if these offerings don’t sit well on your plate, that’s fine. Regardless of your participation, thank you for stopping by.

Here’s a final photo just because I have one extra that’s ready.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. First, congratulations to the First, Second and Third place winners!

Second, . . . this was a tough vote, guys!!! I liked all three stories, so too bad we can’t split our votes into 3rd’s!

Anyway, eagerly looking forward to the N’s . . .

    1. There can be only one! . . . and then the next, and the one after that.

Thanks, and we’ll try to spread them apart in the future; one good one, one meh!, and one yuck! so that it’s easier for the readers to decide.

    1. Unfortunately, that has a lot to do with the other readers and not all that much with us writers.

Please direct any complaints about past disappointments to them . . . not that they ever listen to what I suggest, but you may have better luck.

      And, thanks for voting.
