Flowers and “K” stories voting reminder

Current voting for the “K” stories remains baffling to us writers. But that’s the thing with readers; they can surprise you. If that sounds intriguing, give the stories a read and vote for the “Alphabet Challenge K-Stories” HERE.<<<This Is A Link

Clicking on the above link will take you to the post with the poll where you can cast your vote. The post also contains links to the individual stories. After voting, readers can — if so moved — spread the news about the story to friends and family. Or, not. But, we hope for yes.

So . . . Flowers . . .

I’ve been remiss on photographing flowers . . . well, I’ve photographed a few, I just haven’t shared them. I’m remedying the matter with this post.

I like geraniums . . . can’t explain why for sure, but it’s likely the buds . . .

I like Stella D’Oro flowers, but they require more maintenance than I like.

Apparently, these next roses were planted because deer don’t eat them (I assume, then, deer eat regular roses . . . who knew!?)

I really like these next flowers because they just keep flowering. Orange is also a favorite for these flowers.

This next photo is not of a flower . . .

That’s a tiny fly (the orange bits are Cheerios crumbs) that landed in my empty breakfast bowl (I ate the cereal outside).

But, geraniums keep drawing me back . . .

Even when they have some friends with them . . .

I’m writing this late on Thursday (yesterday) and planning on scheduling for the post to go live tomorrow (today) because we have a full day and I’m not likely to be near a PC tomorrow (today).

If that’s confusing, here’s a joke or two to divert your mind and perhaps realign on the straight and narrow . . .

I’d give up writing for that.

Here’s one showing what 2020 feels like so far . . .

The photos can be seen full-size in the SmugMug Gallery HERE.<<<This is a link

Meanwhile, a small gallery of the above:

Look, I know I’ve gone away from doing long posts . . . but, if you really miss them, there are many you can go back and revisit. THIS POST from 2016, for example.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
