The Alphabet Challenge: “I” Stories Voting

Assuming everyone has read the stories, this is the place where you can vote for your favorite of the “I” Stories.

For readers who stumbled here or who need a refresher, the stories can be found by clicking on their respective names below.

Here are the links to the stories:

All readers have to do is read each story and choose the one they liked best. Voting is open until the publication of the next group of stories (the “J” stories) at which time the votes will be tallied and a winner declared.

As a reminder, to have your vote count, click on the circle next to the story you’re voting for, and then click on “Vote”. If you don’t click on “Vote”, your choice won’t be recorded.

If you would like to leave a comment for the writers — either here or with the individual stories posts — please do so. I will forward each comment/question to the appropriate writer.

The writers will appreciate hearing from you and will likely respond.

The next round of stories — the “J” Stories — should be up around the beginning of June.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Just a few comments for now as I have a massive headache – no, not due to reading any of these I stories. This was an interesting lot – all kinda depressing imo. I guess I need a little bit of happiness after all but that surprises me cuz those uplifting movies where all ends well are really not my thing. So, again, dying to know who wrote what. The first one – Incinerator had me reaching for my dictionary as did Identity and to a lesser extent, In-Role, my pick for the win. The big words: remonstrating, rapprochement, succor, bokor and eidetic. Perhaps I get out too much and need to spend more quality time deep in the bowels of a dictionary? Other observations: Two stories w/twins, and lots of I-I-Is in the dialogue heavy first one – perhaps a subliminal way of having us vote for this I story???

He’s always at the ready when I want to be reminded we are all people and that — excluding the assholes minority — we’re pretty much the same and want the same things in life.
