The “F” stories fiction distancing

Well, I figured this would happen (and completely understand) . . . the total number of votes for the “F” stories offerings is tracking even lower than the usually low numbers.

This is a gentle reminder that — if bored out of your skull, healthy, and literate — you might consider reading them and then, perhaps, voting for your favorite HERE. That’s also where you can find links to the stories so that — you know — you don’t have to hunt for them.

I’ll also advise people to — regardless if you read the stories or not — take the occasional break from COVID-19 news. It’s easy to let it take over your life. I mean, it’s already taking over your physical life, but you should make the effort to safeguard your mental health and emotional well-being.

It’s perfectly understandable reading these stories isn’t your Plan A . . . or even B, C, or D, but do something — anything — to relax and focus on things you enjoy.

Below are a couple of photo manipulations for your enjoyment (or not).

So, that’s one of the two photos I shared yesterday but passed through AI Remix function of Topaz Studio 1.0.

Then, using Studio’s Digital Frame option, I came up with this . . .

I don’t know which is better . . . I like them both but for different reasons.

I also tried doing a similar thing with the other photo . . .

Again, I don’t know if it’s good, bad, indifferent, or just plain weird.

I imagine that if I had a recognizable name, this could hang in an art gallery and people would be all “Ooohh!” and “AAhh!” over it . . . instead of the current reaction of “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is that!?!”

I tried the same approach with another photo (meaning, AI Remix, and Digital Frame) and I have a feeling people might like this one much more than the other two.

Anyway, stay safe, and if so inclined, read the stories and then please vote.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. The tops of the first two images struck me as resembling peacock feathers…compelling anyway…and the two birds look like they are on an Xmas card.

    Very nice, Emilio.

  2. I read. I enjoyed. I voted.
Similar to “I came. I saw. I conquered.” HA!

All of these photos are artistic and bring smiles! Definitely Ooh-Y and Aah-Y, in my book!

The last one would make a cheery holiday card!
