First time in a long while

This is the first day in a long while (since the start of Project 313) that I don’t have a daily post. That’s right; I had 314 straight days of posting at least one post a day but today — with Project 313 being finished — the streak will be broken since I don’t have a post  to . . . well, post.  

It feels strange . . . like if the world is just a bit out of kilter. 

You know . . . in addition to it having flopped over and stomped and then beaten with an aluminum baseball bat. 

I’m ambivalent about it. On the one hand, it’s a great relief to not have to post something. On the other hand, it’s a long streak to let fade. 

I think it would fill weird if I posted something today . . . people (including me) would wonder and ponder if I’m only doing it to register another notch on my post tracking posts.

In the end, I decided not to post anything today as it would cheapen (I think) the effort to date. I mean, up until yesterday, I had a purpose, a goal to obtain and be proud of. 

Today, it would just be to add the count of one to an otherwise now-meaningless counter. 

I think I have more integrity than that so . . . no post for me today.
