Project 313 – Post No. 302

In the last Project 313 post, I linked a Mount Baker post . . . so today I link a Mount Rainier post (HERE).

I like mountains . . . but those are active volcanoes. If you live in the area, don’t read THIS.

And now, the photo:

I know I say this often so it loses its impact . . . but I really like this treatment. That’s one of my favorite frog photos (taken in Illinois in 2006).

I think that particular treatment and framing both suits it and enhances the photo.

Joe Martin and I often think along the same lines . . . but not in this case.

I happen to think it’s the perfect use of technology.

And now, I give you . . . Idle Hands and Minds Collaborate To Do Other Stuff — the washed-out pastels edition.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Thank you, Carolyn. I’ve always liked mountains. There’s something about looking at them that evokes travel and exploration and perhaps a destination beyond them.

I’d love to shoot more photos of frogs and other amphibians. Don’t see many these days. Perhaps I need to stroll through a few swamps.

It’s deceptively simple but with some psychology involved. I used to play it but it’s been a long time now. By the way, I never liked the actual game (the one with the plastic board and pegs. Just give me a quadrille sheet of paper, a pen, and I’m all set.

Hope your weekend is going well. Kind of gray here. I hear they eventually have Spring around these parts and the sun comes to visit. I’m looking forward to it.
