Project 313 – Post No. 299

Occasionally, I think myself clever in the naming of posts. Such was the case for THIS effort that references a depressing movie.

It may sound sad to some but I’ve lost the capacity to watch depressing movies. Dramas or any movie where people suffer (innocent people, especially) needlessly are anathemas to me now. If it doesn’t have mindless action or a good ending to an otherwise bad situation, I’m outta there.

And now, the photo:

I’m pretty sure I sold those cups (I had four) at the moving sale. I’m pretty sure because I recently had to look through our storage and I don’t remember seeing these either individually or in boxes. Oh well . . . whatchagonnado?

One of the problems with doing multiple posts ahead of time is that one doesn’t always remember what was done two weeks ago . . .

. . . meaning, I hope I haven’t used this cartoon yet.

As we all know … Idle Hands and Minds Collaborate To Do Other Stuff

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

I just recalled a scene of you carrying that glass cup, filled with hot coffee, heading to your home office while whistling one of your favorite tunes. Lovely memory.

  2. I love your bird photos! The way you capture them in flight is amazing!
And the old barns photos are always cool! I have a friend who had a huge piece of a side of an old barn removed from her parent’s ranch and had the wood put up to be one wall in her family room. It is so beautiful!
Oh, ’twas a clever name for that post.

    PHOTO: Beautiful worldly mug!
CARTOON: That’s funny and clever! One of my fav comedy movies is Waiting for Guffman. The title is a reference to the Samuel Beckett play Waiting for Godot.
DOODLE: Oh, they sure do! This is very spinner-y, boomerang-y, etc!
HUGS and hope all is well!!! :-)

I’m trying to picture the animals in the barn looking around and going “Hey! Didn’t there use to be a wall there?”

And yes, same play on words although one has to be familiar with at least the title of the original to get the humor of the scene.

      Thank you, Carolyn.

      • HA! I’m pretty sure she got it because they tore the whole old barn down. I find that sad, though. But, I guess they knew best. I never asked, but I hope some others got some use out of the wood. I’ve purchased frames before made out of old barn wood. :-)
