Project 313 – Post No. 290

I’m someone who likes movies . . . most of the time. However, movies require an inordinate investment of time (and it keeps getting longer . . . these days, well past two hours). What makes watching a bad movie galling is the fact you pay for the privilege.

Your time, your money, and rarely a decent return for your investment. HERE‘s my review of AvatarLet just say it wasn’t glowing.

And now, the photo:

Project 313 290

In case anyone is wondering, I’m writing these posts while sick and wanting to go to bed in the hope of actually getting some sleep.

That just goes to show you the kind of dedication I have to this project.

This is an interesting concept. I imagine that if we could accomplish such a feat, hunger would disappear forever . . . and restaurants might go out of business.

It would also give a different meaning to Classic Hamburger.

Stretching the Phoenix concept to the max, today I offer . . . Phoenix Swan Running Out of Fuel.

Phoenix Swan Running Out of Fuel

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. I didn’t like Avatar I have to say. Can’t explain it as well as you, I just didn’t like it. Last week I went to see Stan and Ollie which was excellent. The two guys were so convincing. I took my mum (86), on the way out she said that she didn’t know that Laurel and Hardy were still making films!!!

  2. That Junk Food Yard is quite a concept . . . I had never gone that far into “preservative possibilities”.

Excellent choice of new subject for your photos . . . they’re a ray of sunshine on this otherwise very cold and wintry day!

    1. I see it’s going to be gelid up there . . . and frigid here. Certainly different than what I’ve been used to.

Take care with the coming arctic blast. Sounds positively brutal, especially Wednesday.

  3. PHOTO: This photo is glowing! So sunny and cheerful!
CARTOON: Ha! That’s great! I heard of a radio show that bought a fast-food hamburger (I won’t say which one) and sat it on a shelf. Quite a l-o-n-g while later it still looked the same as when they bought it. Yikes!
DOODLE: Aw, hope it finds some fuel.
    HUGS!!! 🙂
PS…How are you 2 feeling?! My sinus crud is leaving and I feel like I will live again. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Carolyn.

We are doing as well as sick people can be expected to be doing. Our main concern right now is to not infect our hosts.

There seems to be a slight improvement but, again, most evenings are welcomed with a relapse in coughing and wheezing, and stuff.

    1. Thank you, macquie.

Obviously, from my review, I can’t recommend the movie but you should certainly experience it for yourself as opposed to taking my word for it.

Lots of (possibly misguided) people watched it and liked it.

      1. I give him this much . . . he spent a lot of time and effort on the effects and CGI work . . . I wish he had spent some time on the script/plot for the movie. Again, my preferences and those of other people seldom align.
