Project 313 – Post No. 289

I might have mentioned that I used to write for Slice of SciFi. By the way, that’s the only — as far as I know — Wikipedia article that has my name in it. And I didn’t know it until now. Anyway, THIS is one of the articles I wrote for them regarding the show Eureka!

. . . I’m mentioned in Wikipedia . . . who’d have thunk it!?

And now, the photo:

Also from the early 2000s, these used to be my favorite flowers for my then primitive forays into stretching the envelope of post-processing. Now, I’m outside the envelope and fluttering about like crazy.

I’m tired but I’ll say they are Stella D’Oro flowers.

I don’t always like all of Martin’s Sunday offerings, but in this case, I’m on board with all of them. Especially, the first and the last. The third, too. And also, the second.

Willy and I seem to have similar relationships with art . . .

Sometimes, as in, like, now, when I name these things, I crack me up. Feast your eyes on . . . Electric Skull Carnevale — The Grapes of Bones Edition.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. What fame! A nice little profile as well, did you write it or someone else?

    Oh, my . . . I have a famous brother . . . your name is in lights . . . or rather, highlighted in Wikipedia . . . a site used by millions!!!

And don’t try to downplay or deny it, I won’t have any of that!

  3. Congrats! So cool on the Wikipedia nod to you! I think that’s exciting! :-)

PHOTO: The flowers are cheery! And pop from the beautiful-grassy-green background!
CARTOON: Ha! on you liking all of them! They ARE all funny! But the two that made me snort are the first and third ones!
DOODLE: Ooh! Love this grape-y edition “The Grapes of Bones” HA! The colors are favs of mine!
HUGS for you and Melisa!!! :-)

      Thanks, diem3.

Not sure about exciting. Surprising and amusing, maybe. It looks like the page averages about 120 views a month (at least recently). I doubt anyone takes notice of my name, but at least I’m included as having contributed.

And yes, all of them are good, but I agree those can especially tickle the funny bone.
