Project 313 – Post No. 286

I’m back from my blackout dates and hopefully, have a day or two to schedule a number of these posts. As some might know, I’m sick. Not in a mental way (although some might claim so) and not in a deviant way (no one I know still alive claims so). Sick as in not feeling well.

I’m trying to stoically endure this monumental injustice (why am I sick instead of scores of people I can think of?) by only complaining in shifts. Zero-eight-hundred to fourteen-thirty and fifteen-hundred to twenty-thirty. Why so little? Well, Melisa needs a break during the day and she goes to sleep early.

I suppose I should link an old (but excellent) post from days gone by . . . HERE. That’s from a time when people valued my opinion.

I’m kidding, of course. No one ever valued my opinion. If anything, the opposite.

And now, the photo:

I’ll have to move onto a different theme soon because these are all starting to look alike.

Alley, our second cat, would often play catch-and-fetch with me (using a small paper ball or tissue). She was a great jumper (many cats are) and the trick was to try and get it by her. Mind you, I could throw the paper ball way over her head but the purpose wasn’t to make it impossible. It was to entertain both of us.

That is a deep observation regarding the difference in the two species. Perhaps of people, as well.

So, I was running out of names when the idea struck me for . . . When you run out of toilet tissue and Paint Drying has to make do.

When you run out of toilet tissue and Paint Drying has to make do

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. Sorry you aren’t feeling well. Interesting picture of paint drying. Perhaps grass growing will offer a challenge worthy of your talents next?

  2. Your post on what you’ve learned from experience and observation is wonderful and wise! I much prefer it over a post about a kitten sleeping in a shoe. (And I do like kittens and shoes!) I am bookmarking that post so I can go back and read it again. Thank you, Emilio!

PHOTO: That teapot is so lovely! It says “Smile!” so I did!
CARTOON: HA! I love this! I love both cats and dogs and I love the different attitude they have. We as human-beans need both attitudes to get through life.
DOODLE: The browns are quite soothing.
    HUGS!!!
PS…Hope you are completely well soon.

    1. Wow! you actually read that? I hadn’t seen any click until I looked in another place of my dashboard. There were three clicks on that link . . . only one comment, however.

      Thanks, Carolyn.

      1. Yes, I actually read it!
Sometimes I don’t leave comments, but I “like” it to show I read it or sometimes I leave a comment about it on the post where you linked it. Did this make sense? I am “high” in decongestant! HA!
        You’re welcome!

      2. Yes, it made sense. Hope the decongestant works. Nothing we’ve tried works for us right now. our noses right now are about as raw as they can be without actually bleeding (although, my nose bleeds inside).
