Relaxing on a cruise

Nothing like relaxing on a cruise ship, sipping our cappuccinos and taking in the sights . . .

Sights you can’t see anywhere else . . .

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Hmm . . . I don’t think so. Noisy, fumes, noisy . . . did I mention noisy? The traffic noise would drive you and mother bonkers.

The place was bustling with activity and not all were related to the three ships that were in port.

We actually stepped off the ship and headed to the Wal-Mart because I wanted to buy something like Flonase. Apparently, I’m not supposed to take antihistamines (something no one told me as I’ve been gulping them down for the last six months or so to control my allergies). As it turns out, no such thing in the pharmacy. There were some things I might have been able to use but I didn’t recognize the active ingredients so I didn’t want to risk it.

It has all the charm going for it as the balcony of a city office block. At least it can relocate!

We only went ashore to visit the Wal-Mart looking to see if they have any Flonase or equivalent (they don’t). I’ve been told not to use antihistamine so that negates me using pills for my allergies.

It also means I can’t use the over-the-counter motion sickness pills because they’re basically an antihistamine (slightly different but same side effect).

For the record, the pharmacy section was not anywhere as well equipped as those in US stores

We could have walked around more, but we heard the siren calls of cappuccinos and desserts coming from the ship, so back we went.
