Birds I’ve not photographed

Another quick post. Needed a few minutes to take the weight of the world of my shoulders and unwind.

These are painted on the outside wall of a United States Post Office contractor office . . . Like a regular post office but not.

In the two years and six months we’ve been here, I’ve only photographed one of those and that was only a few months ago.

Let me tell you . . . Slim pickings when it comes to bird photography.

Unless you go in the middle of nowhere. That’s where the birds hang out; in the middle of nowhere.

    1. Yup . . . I just wish I knew how they got them to pose long enough to paint the pictures.

Most birds I see around here are on some sort of amphetamines; they don’t stand still longer than a fraction of a second.

  1. Glad these birds could be found at the PO CO for you to photograph!
They are beautiful and have an air of peace about them. But I imagine the real birdies do flit around too fast to shoot! (You know, with a camera!)
    HUGS!!! 🙂

  2. They’re BEAUTIFUL! And having the Hawai’ian names is a great idea . . . setting out to memorize them would be a great mental exercise . . . and achievement!

    1. I gave up learning the language here when I realized that even the natives don’t all agree on pronunciation. Plus, I have a vowel limit rule . . . more than 75% vowels and I’m outta there.
