So, still pretty busy and overly preoccupied with stuff . . . Including, bubbles
That’s a photo taken in my kitchen sink.
Most people don’t do anything with their photos before sharing them.
Not me; at the very least, I do something like this . . .
Interestingly, that looks like some sort of alien skull . . . But, that’s not important.
I want to show that I don’t stop there.
So, the initial edit is done using Snapseed. People have their own preferences for phone photo editors (and I have other editors), but Snapseed is hard to beat.
The second (and subsequent) edits are done in Paper Artist.
It used to be free on my Note II, but I had to shell out a few bucks for it on the Note 8.
I like how fast and easy and varied my choices are rendered.
I could do more with a few other apps but this app offers a lot of variety.
Anyway, I just wanted to spend a few minutes unwinding and iI figured I would share said efforts.
That’s it.
This being a post composed on the phone, I don’t have my standard disclaimer so you’ll have to imagine it from scratch and from prior exposure; good luck.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. . . My 2010 Highlander mileage counter just crossed 90009 miles.
That’s a lot of miles, Bob.
That’s it; this post is done. Again, try to imagine me finishing a post and posting it, and you reading it, and then recalling the disclaimers that aren’t shown below . . . Yes, I could copy them here, but I’m a big believer in people exercising their minds.
I remember doing something like this 40 years ago. I tried to get bubbles in a wine glass that looked like butterfly wings. I think I have one of them somewhere will need to look it out now.
My VW Golf has just passed 97000 miles!

Don’t they already have bubbly wine? I think they call it champagne.
. . . And, where did you ever get a wine glass that looked like butterfly wings?
This car was getting 100 miles a day whole I was working so 50k+ in three years. Then, 40k in the next 5 years.
I sold my Suburban with 217K miles. Last I heard, it passed 290K and still going strong hauling horse trailers.

Hard to explain. I dunked the glass in washing up bowl and then took it out to photograph the oily washing up liquid residue. I cannot find the picture.

Are you sure there even was a photo?
It sounds as if all this happened after you emptied the glass.
Just how big was this glass?

Just a regular wine glass!

Not quite as I remembered it actually. You will have to take my word for it that the bubble/smear is inside a wine glass!

That is interesting.
. . . I’ll have to blow me some wine bubbles . . .

I like the bubbles! I’ll try some myself. Thanks!

First, draw a soapy bath. Then, get in. Then . . .
Wait; the night before, eat some chili. Spicy chili if you want the visual to be augmented by the olfactory experience.

That bubble was remarkably lifelike even before you fiddled!

Yeah . . . It had a certain “presence”.
Alas, a quick rinse and it was gone.

OOH! I love bubbles! (Bubble-bubbles, not Bubbles the Dancer!)
And your bubbles are more beautiful and more artistic than any other bubbles I’ve seen!
Great photos, Emilio! Fun, too!
HUGS!!! 🙂
PS…you crack me up!

What’s wrong with Bubbles the Dancer?

I did tell you many times that you’ve got lots of talent . . . and turning ordinary bubbles into works of art, well . . . that needs creative juices flowing! Neat!!!

Thanks, Ann.
It’s juices and the Paper Artist app . . . and being able to poke at the screen of the phone.
. . . it’s an acquired skill. After years of practice, I’m now able to poke the screen with three of my right hand’s five fingers. I plan on mastering all five before attempting the left hand.
Eventually, I’ll try the voice-activated features . . . with my stuttering, who knows what amazing results I’ll get!

90009 Mile/s = 144855. Kilometre/s
Between 1981 and 2001 I travelled in excess of 2 million kilometres which translates, 2.000.000 Kilometre/s = 1.242,742miles
Now that’s a real lot of miles;
I went through 5 vehicles, the best was a Nissan Pulsar did 480,000 Kilometre/s (almost half a million) = 298,258 Mile/s and never had the head off the motor, best car I ever had.
Those bubbles look like an escaper from Star Wars

I’m assuming that was somewhat work-related. I’m probably around 700K-800K miles in 20 years. We used to drive a lot.
These last few years on the island are (understandably) years with fewer miles traveled.
