Project 313 – Post No. 224

Another post from years ago that might appeal to some . . . THIS post is about a pond and its denizens.

That was a common stop whenever I wanted to practice photographing birds in flight or at rest.

And now, the photo:

Project 224

With as many processing opportunities, it’s always a pleasure finding a new process (which will soon become old as I apply it elsewhere). I like this combination. For the record, the original color for the Volkswagen trunk lid was baby blue. I think this looks better.

I would certainly buy such a paint scheme since I then wouldn’t have to wash the car as often.

There are times when I’ve had the strong urge to do just this . . .

. . . mind you, not because of the menu prices (although I think some places are outrageous and I would love to just up and leave) but mostly because nothing on the menu appealed. Of course, not all restaurants have mints on the way out. Some don’t even have floss.

When I say “you” I actually mean “me” . . . Faces Waking Up, Seeing You, Reacting, and Accepting the Inevitable.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Overall mood of this post is . . . well, . . . um . . . less than cheerful. It’s an on-and-off sunny morning here, and I’m pretty sure it’s sunny where you’re at. I’ve got a day off, you two have the year off, so . . . definitely possibility for cheerfulness today!

Hmm . . . Not seeing it. Funny commentary, funny cartoon, funny faces . . . are you sure you’re not projecting?

Saw yesterdays photos. Looks like everyone had a good time.

You’re right, I was projecting my deeper vibes, but with my eye on a more optimistic future.

And the Thanksgiving photos reflect the good times had by everyone. After all, we did have many Thanksgivings to get it right!

  2. The vids in the “Duck Duck Goose” (Do you know that childhood game?) post are beautiful and wonderful!
PHOTO: I love this one! And I wouldn’t mind a VW of any color, but that effect/color would be good for rainy muddy Springs we have here. :-)
CARTOON: HA! So true. And reminds me of the restaurant “ketchup soup” I saw in an old comedy movie.
DOODLE: ‘Tis true and something we can all relate to! Cute, too!
    HUGS!!! :-)

Thank you, Carolyn. Like I said elsewhere, it’s also a nice surprise for me to revisit old posts. You know, from back when I took pretty good photos.

As for car colors, I always wanted a Matte color that didn’t need to be waxed or cleaned . . . I don’t remember the reason they gave as to why that’s not a choice.

Enjoy the weekend . . . and leftovers (if you have them).
