Project 313 – Post No. 207

If you are interested in photos of the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, look no further than THIS post. However, fair warning . . . lots of photos spanning the years from 2005 to 2010.

And now, the photo:

Project 313 207

I used to have a pool in the shape of a Chevy chevron . . . a pain to upkeep and a pain to close it for the winter, but I did like that pool. I don’t think we’ll ever have another pool. It might happen but it’s highly unlikely.

I figure another car-maintenance cartoon is in order. No particular reason; I just feel like it.

Wouldn’t it be something if doctors operated the same way?

Today — and a number of months early . . . or late — I give you . . . Too Orderly for a Proper Name – The St. Patrick Edition.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. PHOTO: My dad was a Chevy man…he’d love that photo. OH, and cool on the pool!
    CARTOON: It WOULD be something!
DOODLE: ‘Tis very St. Patrick-y and leprechaun-y! The colors are bright and cheery!

My first car was a Chevrolet Impala (1965). The majority of my cars have been either Chevrolets or GMC.

I’m not sure I’d go that way again as the Tahoe (my last Chevy) while a great-riding car and about the size I like, had a number of maintenance issues that were just plain annoying (as well as costly) mainly because they went cheap on components, pocketed the few bucks of extra profit, and left the consumers to pick up the tab.

From what I’m reading, their quality is going the wrong way.

Thanks, Carolyn and happy post-election day. I would like to think we’ll have a little respite, but no . . . they’re already talking about 2020.
