Project 313 – Post No. 206

Today’s link to a previous POST has us travel Colorado’s back roads. This was one of our favorite drives when wanting to see fewer people.

And now, the photo:

. . . I wonder if that was meant to be an “N”?

It’s fairly amazing, isn’t it, the relationship we have with cars?

These days — if you take your car to the dealer for service — you never get to speak with the mechanic. They are faceless entities beyond the “no admittance” sign and all of your interactions are conducted with the Service Advisor.

Sometimes, you can even trust them to care and actually know something about cars and servicing them. I could never tell if they had a sense of humor; they never hear any noises, funny or otherwise.

And now, I give you . . . Hurricane As Seen By A Myopic Colorblind Seagull On Drugs.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. I think you just created a new word! I never knew an Oldsmobile owner who was a snob. But a smob? Maybe!

  2. PHOTO: Most snobs don’t have to advertise on their cars. ;-) Ha. :-)
CARTOON: Ha! and Yeah, it’s like the noise quits being noisy when the mechanic is listening.
    DOODLE: ‘Tis mesmerizing!

      Thank you, Carolyn.

I think most snobs do advertise . . . not on their cars, but with their cars.

Once, on a test drive with a service manager, I could plainly hear the noise and even made it match changes in the engine rpm . . . the manager, however, heard nothing.

      . . . that’s why it’s probably best I don’t have the power of life-and-death over people . . .
