Project 313 – Post No. 165

You know that annoying sticky goo they use to temporarily hold stuff together in envelopes and packages? It’s kind of stretchy but remains pliable and is occasionally very difficult to remove (there must be different grades of it).

Well, here’s something you can do when you’re bored: use it to simulate snot dripping from your nose.

If you’re a Costco member, you’re in luck. Buy their regular Cheerios; they come in a package of two boxes held together by a sizeable amount of that goop. If you don’t eat Cheerios, buy them anyway and donate them to a food bank (after you’ve secured the goo).

I can tell you first hand that it looks realistic and it’s guaranteed to get the desired reaction (whatever that is) from almost anyone.

If you know anyone with young kids, you can get them to play tricks on their parents and stuff, but you can also have fun as an adult.

For instance, after “wiping” it from your nose, stick it on the handle of a door (make sure people see you do it) and then leave. Another good place is the weight machines at the gym.

Also, I imagine it would be useful if you’re trying to get out of jury duty. Or, if you’re one of them guys plagued by chicks hitting on you all the time, just hang a sizable piece from your nose and they’ll leave you alone.

It’s also useful if you’re one of us people who are not partial to hugging.

About the only improvement I wish they’d make is have it be edible. Oh, the fun I could then have.

And now, the photo:

I’m starting to really like this series of photos.

Today’s cartoon answers the question of why I never go to bars. Although, that’s from before the current smoking ban. Still, a pretty good formula.

Next up, another animation of some of the versions I’ll not individually use along some of the versions I’ve already used of the . . . Centipede Bachelorette Party Variations.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

    1. I do hope my suggestion gets to a few kids (or adults) who will act on it.

Thank you, Carolyn and truth be told, for all I know, the centipedes are either partying or waging the equivalent of WW III . . . it’s tough to tell with centipedes.

    2. By the way, you’re the only one who commented on my suggestion . . . I’d like to think people just didn’t know what to say about it, but the probable (and more likely) truth is that hardly anyone reads the words.
