Project 313 – Post No. 154

Another quick post where I rely less on words and more on the picture, cartoon, and doodle.

They better come through for me because I’m distracted and focusing on either being witty or appearing erudite is too much of a strain right now.

Of course, I’m writing this a few days ahead so by the time you read this I’ll be back to my usual witty and erudite self.

Or, at least, capable of faking it so as to fool most people.

And now, the photo:

I do like these classic cars details. For them who are interested, the originals are in THIS gallery.

One of the reasons I like Martin’s comics is his ability to come up with humorous takes on everyday stuff as seen through Willy’s eyes (or Mr. Boffo’s eyes).

I’d like to think that if I applied myself to the task I could emulate some of his humor . . . and, in fact, I do tend to look at the world with a kind of attention slanted toward the humorous.

. . . not all agree . . .

Meanwhile, I can tell you some things should be washed by hand. To wit . . . Watermelon Wheel After The Carwash.

Watermelon Wheel After The Carwash

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

    1. Thanks, Carolyn.

Distractions, unfortunately, are seldom good in my life. That’s because I have a pretty good life and anything distracting me from it is by definition not good.

      That said, nothing awful.

Hope your weekend shapes up to be a good one as well.

  2. Do you think you could notify me by e-mail when you do eventually decide to get back to your normal witty self? I’ve been waiting a few years now and it’s getting somewhat impossible to believe .
