Project 313 – Post No. 011

This Project is enjoying its last few pre-teens posts.

I now understand fully the range of emotions experienced by parents as they watch their kids go from lovable homunculi to delinquent near-adults forging ahead onto becoming not just burdens but full-fledged drains on society.

. . . the emotions overwhelm me . . .

The photo:

That photo also comes from the Fish & Chips restaurant I mentioned a few posts ago. In fact, that figure is on the same chair as the headless angel threatening the little girl. An odd combination all around.

Speaking of health (we weren’t; it’s just an introductory phrase), here Willy demonstrates more common sense than most Americans when it comes to health and supposed diagnosis of symptoms.

Mention a disease, and sure as liquid effluent, someone will take ownership of the symptoms . . . even if you made the whole thing up whole cloth à la Chopra.

It’s one of the reasons health care costs are higher in the US.

Today, I take a quick departure from the animated GIFs as I fear they may lose their dramatic impact if they’re overdone. This is just a color doodle, exactly as drawn without any special treatment.

That reminds me of Aztec hieroglyphics combined with beads and some less-than and greater-than symbolism. Of course, the open circles symbolize ideal life interrupted by reality. The mystery is the beakers with the red stuff in them. It may be the same Red Matter — invented whole cloth à la Chopra — used in the reboot of the Star Trek movies. That would also explain the Omega symbol.

And . . . that’s it

Some of these posts will likely be longer as the mood hits me, but most will be thus; short, uninteresting, bland, and relentless.

You can read about Project 313 HERE.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

  1. Love the photo! Made me giggle! That looks like Olaf from Frozen!
HA! Willy’s convo with his doc made me snort!
Great colors and shapes in the doodle! ‘Tis very Aztecian. (If that’s a word)
    HUGS!!! 🙂

    1. I’m reasonably certain it is Olaf . . . He’s known to pal around headless angels as he’s prone to occasionally lose his own head.

I thought Willy showed quite the insight. More important, he has an honest doctor that (sort-of) admits making up stuff as they go.

And yes, Aztecian is a word. I don’t think Aztecanian or Aztecanite are, but who knows how them Aztecs would have self-identified.

      Thanks, diem3.
