Looking at my meager (photographic) offerings one might conclude my interest in photography is waning. Au contraire, mes lecteurs. Just in the months of October, November, and December, I shot 4,278 photographs, or 1,426 photos per month, or 47.5 photos per day, or roughly 2.64 photographs per waking hour.
The last quarter — saw mostly Hawai’i content . . .
Contrary to what some people think, I don’t post all the photos I take. But, yes, I post a lot.
Some are interesting . . .
. . . some just be purty . . .
. . . then, back to interesting . . .
I closed off October not with a photo but with a manufactured image.
The notable November photos included waves . . .
. . . some of which looked very nice in B&W . . .
For some reason, I then felt compelled to use one of my photos to comment on matters I felt were important.
Best not dwell on that here . . .
We did stop by the Volcano National Park and saw . . .
That’s right, lava. That had me dig up some old photos (from my film days) . . .
The new lava photos are not nearly as impressive . . . and that’s OK.
I did not manage many avian shots (dang, few, I will tell you), but these I liked . . .
. . . as in they were giving thanks for not being eaten.
This was my Thanksgiving meal . . .
I did look back to a long-ago trip through the Badlands . . .
. . . and, once again, in B&W and almost B&W . . .
At the end of November, I reminisced about snow . . .
. . . as I contemplated surfing (not as in actually doing it; just as in watching) . . .
Coral. Dead coral. December started with Dead coral.
That’s right . . . B&W December dead coral.
And, as long as I was working in B&W . . .
I ventured back into color photography, including . . .
Wait a second . . . we’re in December!
Look, if I have to repost what I just posted, it means my readers are not paying attention to what I’m doing, so reposting stuff is not going to help.
I’m going to call this one as done . . .
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

It is a joy to revisit your interesting, stunning, purty, unusual, and fun photos, Emilio! You had a great year of snappin’ and capturin’!
It’s fascinating to see all the faces, and textures, and shapes, and colors in nature!
HUGS!!! 🙂 Happy 2017!

Some excellent photos! But can I trust anyone who eats spam on Thanksgiving?

I am the most trustworthy person you will ever meet. People talk about how trustworthy I am. I hear that if you have to say you are trustworthy, generally you aren’t, but in my case, you can trust me on this because I am trustworthy.
