NaNoWriMo No. 3 – Eleventh Update

I had ten November days in which I wrote zero NaNoWriMo words. Nada. Niente. 

That’s why I find myself with one day to go (today, as I write this) in which I have 4,808 words I need to write to meet my deadline and goal of 50,000 words written for November.

My current NNWM-2K15 progress: 

 

As of this writing, I’m at 45,202 words. I have to admit to taking a day to fix a couple of glaring plot holes. I had to, otherwise I was stuck with nothing making sense. 

I don’t know if I managed it. I think I did, and I had to do it without rewriting the first part of the book or making up a plot worthy of the Wachowski team. 

I sure hope I managed it or, boy, won’t my face be red!

For them sporting a curious streak, today I’ll be starting Chapter 27 (have not started writing yet). 

As in prior years, all of it will go up on the blog. But, as in prior years, all but the first two chapters are offered up in password-protected posts. 

E-mail me a request if you are interested in reading further (read the first two chapters to decide if you are interested.)

The next post will contain Chapters 17 and 18 will go up immediately after this post goes live. As I said, it’s password protected. 

Please, don’t just ask for a password just to make me feel good. Unless you intend to read it, don’t ask. I will not feel hurt, I will not cry myself to sleep, I will not hate anyone who chooses not to read my effort. I will, however, get a little miffed if I get asked for passwords by a bunch of people and then only my usual four or five readers actually read the stuff. 

So, here’s a few photos of what the outdoors has looked like for the past four days. Remember, I golfed on Wednesday. Half of these are taken with the phone and the other half with the Nikon (in no particular order). I won’t write much more because it is late.
