I’m making decent progress, and think I can make it . . . except that I’ve not written anything today. I might after I post this, but I’m tired. Went to the gym this morning, then helped clean the house, then drove an hour to golf in mid-40s degree weather (my one friend is a tad unbalanced but, as a friend, I try and humor him). Got home and spent a bit of time with Melisa (to short, but she’s understanding)and now I’m posting this.
My current NNWM-2K15 progress:
As of this morning, I’m at 34,200 words. I’m posting one chapter (Chapter 14).
For them sporting a curious streak, today I’m starting on Chapter 20.
As in prior years, all of it will go up on the blog. But, as in prior years, all but the first two chapters are offered up in password-protected posts.
E-mail me a request if you are interested in reading further (read the first two chapters to decide if you are interested.)
The post with Chapter 14 will go up immediately after this post goes live. As I said, it’s password protected.
Please, don’t just ask for a password just to make me feel good. Unless you intend to read it, don’t ask. I will not feel hurt, I will not cry myself to sleep, I will not hate anyone who chooses not to read my effort. I will, however, get a little miffed if I get asked for passwords by a bunch of people and then only my usual four or five readers actually read the stuff.
So, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. For so many folks who might have forgotten, we give thanks for the time when, as immigrants, the locals helped us out. That was before we killed a lot of them and took their land . . . no wonder so many people are wary of letting immigrants into the country.
Anyway, people, other people, not us, likely will eat one of these.
The sucker moved, so he’s slightly out of focus. However, it’s the only turkey photo I have (I don’t go see candidates, otherwise I’d have a bunch).
I played around with the photo trying various programs I have. I was looking to make it more flattering.
Let’s face it . . . there’s not much one can do to beautify a turkey. Still, I tried.
And now . . . back to writing.
The full-size photos are in the SmugMug gallery HERE. That gallery will eventually contain all of the photos I use for my NNWM-2K15 update posts.
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
Note: if you are not reading this blog post at DisperserTracks.com, know that it has been copied without permission, and likely is being used by someone with nefarious intention, like attracting you to a malware-infested website. Could be they also torture small mammals.
Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so. I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards. I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way. That would mean something to me.
If you wish to know more, please read below.
