Sally?

A few weeks ago we ran out of milk. Off to Safeway we went.

Certainly not my favorite color, but the car was in good shape. Probably still is.

I took only one close-up . . .

I thought this might be ripe for Paper Artist, an app that came with the Note II.

Like that? Here’s a few more.

I probably like this one the best as far as variations go.

Just out of curiosity, I tried the settings on the photo of the silver maple in fall color.

Not bad, but this post is about the Mustang.

It was a nice diversion from the mundane life of a retired engineer with near-zero interest in cars.

. . . never did find out if this was Sally.

My first car was a Mustang convertible. Only my Chevy Vega was worst that that Mustang. But it was pretty.

  2. I trust you had the owners Okay to photograph his vehicle and post the pictures to the WWW? Who or what is Sally? They were a very nice looking motor vehicle but for true sports car I don’t think you can go past the Europeans, they seem to have the knack for producing drop head coupes trouble is they don’t have the weather to really appreciate the joy of top down driving. Well thats what I think for what it’s worth :(

The way it works, anyone and anything out in public can be photographed and used for personal use (can’t make money from it unless one gets a release).

There is a song from the last century that mentions “Mustang Sally”.

As for European cars, we don’t share the same opinion. There are a couple of cars that are less uncomfortable than most, but the majority look like uncomfortable coffins meant to convert stature to people who would otherwise be in serious lack of it.

  4. Beautiful ride! But, I agree…I’d chose a different color. What color would you prefer Sally to be?!
Wow! Those 3 variations on that one photo are really cool! Hope to see more like those in the future. What is the last one called? It looks like cement!
