Strange Stuff

It’s late, so this will be a relatively quick post.

First of all, some B&W shots . . . see if you can guess what these are:

If you guessed, I’m impressed.

How about these:

The first set of three things (all different) are glass flower frogs. Here’s a picture that might present them in a recognizable way:

Those are things you set at the bottom of a vase and help hold flower arrangements in place.

Here are color versions of the above:

Well, not really color photos . . . these are clear glass, so I did some Holla processing on them and then tweaked a few more things in there.

I did the same for the other figures:

Those photos are arrangements of a plastic tie and a plastic clamp sitting on a wood railing.

There is no deep meaning or message here. I just thought they looked neat.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

I thought the first objects were pieces of a carburetor from a 1952 Studebaker and the other thing was a protostem removed from a biflux skypull.

I croaked at the frog, but the clamp and tie I got at the first glance – maybe because I’ve been working with some lately.

Cool photos! And fun to try to guess! I got the flower frogs AFTER you told us! (I would have known by the later photos/different/side shots, but I saw the answer as soon as I saw the later photos.)
At first I thought they were your collection of eyeballs! ;-) :-P
Then the tie and the clamp…I got that one AFTER you told us what they were!
    Did I do good?!?! ;-) :-P
