Nearly back

Saturday, sometime in the early afternoon, I should be back to what passes for the normal world. That is to say, surrounded by the trappings, benefits, and drawbacks of modern life.

There are advantages to modern life. Disadvantages, too.

It’s good to occasionally get away from it all so as to be made aware of them.

Except, even with the best of intentions, it’s getting increasingly difficult to truly disconnect. The Signal is everywhere . . . you can’t stop the signal.

. . . another reference many will (sadly) miss.

Anyway, I hope to catch up with everyone and have some photos to share.

Once again, this has been composed using a poorly thought out and limited WordPress app.

Since the last one went, this should too.

  1. Pictures arrived safely….and enjoyed seeing the reference to “can’t stop the signal,” as I always do. Maybe Word Press has gone past it’s Use By date?

    1. I knew you would . . . as for “Use By” date, I wish . . . they are pushing the new way of doing things, almost as if proud of what they set up.

  2. Can’t get a good signal at the radiology lab at the U of R. Must be all that lead shielding.
I noticed the frame on the last photo trying to mimic sheet film. I wonder how many folks know what the”notches” mean? Excellent photos, btw.

    1. I think most photographers would know because the apps have a setting for adding those frames.

The photos are OK, but they seem a lot softer than what I see in the phone. I’ll add the Nikon versions soon.
