I am taking April off from Disperser Tracks, from reading blogs, from Facebook, from Twitter, and from the Internet in general. I plan to return (virtually) live on May 1st.
Meanwhile, I scheduled a few posts (like this one) to go live during April . . . like a blog heartbeat of sorts.
I should mention, I am not monitoring comments. I will eventually read them in May, but if anyone has a question, the best bet is to send me an e-mail.

We have not done so for some time now, but we used to visit antique stores pretty regularly. I’ve showcased a few things in particular, but here are some random pickings . . .
For the 50 Shades of Gray crowd:
Perhaps this would be of interest to the same crowd.
I’ve seen in movies of old where them things can be used to tie people up.
This next item was representative of what one might find on the beaches of Florida . . .
. . . they are reminders of time past, like this ad:
I think those are very different from current beach attire.
Stuffed animals have a presence in antique stores, but this one caught my attention.
Other than the unrealistic nose, a pretty good cat representation. Or perhaps a small dog. Something furry, anyway.
This next store window made me wonder about their merchandise . . . alas, they were closed.
Most people these days frown on the use of ivory for stuff, but there was a time . . .
These were a reminder of yet another difficult time . . .
The titles almost had me buy some . . . but I resisted.
Well, I need to wrap this up since I feel a bit like this guy:
Not sure what the original intent was, but I recognize the universal expression for “my knee hurts”.
Perhaps he should call for help . . .
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so. I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards. I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way. That would mean something to me.
