Hiatus Post No. 26 – Clouds

I am taking April off from Disperser Tracks, from reading blogs, from Facebook, from Twitter, and from the Internet in general. I plan to return (virtually) live on May 1st.

Meanwhile, I scheduled a few posts (like this one) to go live during April . . . like a blog heartbeat of sorts.

I should mention, I am not monitoring comments. I will eventually read them in May, but if anyone has a question, the best bet is to send me an e-mail.

Here are additional interesting cloud formations I’ve captured here in Colorado.

These are from an evening in June 2012. There is a post about these (HERE).

These were all taken on the evening of June 6, 2012. These types of storm clouds formations are not unusual, but it is unusual to have them side-lit like this.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so.  I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards.   I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way.  That would mean something to me.

I find the formations extraordinary in themselves, and the side-lighting is a bonus.

  2. That lighting is usual and cool! Never tire of cloud watching!

We had severe weather on Monday, June 22nd (2nd tornado to hit Coal City in 2 years), but on the news they showed a photo of Wrigley Field with the unusual mammatus clouds which made me immediately recall your above photos! And here they are for me to see again.
