I am taking April off from Disperser Tracks, from reading blogs, from Facebook, from Twitter, and from the Internet in general. I plan to return (virtually) live on May 1st.
Meanwhile, I scheduled a few posts (like this one) to go live during April . . . like a blog heartbeat of sorts.
I should mention, I am not monitoring comments. I will eventually read them in May, but if anyone has a question, the best bet is to send me an e-mail.

This time I’m looking back to a post from February of 2012 recounting an event that took place in the spring of 2007. I had just arrived at the racquetball club when I noticed a mother fox and seven kits playing near the building.
I missed out on a number of photos, both because I was shooting against the light, but also because I had used a compressed air blower to clean the inside of the camera. Unbeknownst to me, I had damaged the curtain, and it stopped functioning after only a few shots of the playful kits. The SmugMug gallery is HERE, and here are a few shots from that evening.
The frazzled and frumpy looking fox is the mother.
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.
Note: if you are not reading this blog post at Disperser.Wordpress.com, know that it has been copied without permission, and likely is being used by someone with nefarious intention, like attracting you to a malware-infested website. Could be they also torture small mammals.
Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so. I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards. I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way. That would mean something to me.
