Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness

Fifty-two weeks ago Leanne Cole started something she called Monochrome Madness.

Each week anyone can send in one their favorite B&W images and Leanne arranges the submission in a gallery. She also provides links to the photographer’s site.

For the one year anniversary, she asked all the contributors to choose their favorite image from the past year and send it in for the anniversary post.

While I’ve been following Leanne for a number of years, I’ve only submitted a few times (I used to often forget). I now send a submission for the following week whenever I receive a notice of the current week’s Monochrome Madness post publication.

These are the photos I had submitted and have to choose from:

Metal Frond (phone photo):

Cows in the Snow:

Winter, Snow, Scenery,

Old English Caribbean Church:

Cruise 2014, Barbados,

Robber Fly and Prey:

2014 Flowers,

Hummingbird Vision:

Of Peppers and Things:

Flowers, bees,insects,

Pepper Guts:

Flowers, bees,insects,

The Scolding:

Fall Leaves,

I figure I would do yet another poll . . . which image should I submit as my favorite of the few choices presented above?

To see if you agree with me, please go to Leanne’s 52nd Monochrome Madness post. Lots of great images to explore, all chosen by contributors as their favorites for the year.

While you are at it, think about subscribing to her site. If you are into photography, she has lots to offer.

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

I like the hummingbird. I always like your hummingbirds. I like many of your other pictures too, but if there’s only one choice to be made, I’m going with the hummingbird.

  3. Ooh! I love when you let us vote! :-)
Your B&W photos are amazing and a joy to look at! :-)
For me it was between Pepper Guts and The Scolding. I chose The Scolding because it made me laugh out loud! :-D (Yes, I know it’s hard to believe…but I’ve been scolded before! :-P )
    HUGS!!! :-)

I love the golden leave! It is a mythological symbol…. Did you know it!?.
    Best wishes, Aquileana :D

The Scolding is my favorite of these. It looks kind of whimsical to me for some reason, like fluffy Dr Seuss trees, lol. :)

The Scolding got my vote, but Metal Frond is exquisite.
