WordPress gave me a year-end review . . .

. . . and I’m not sure why.

Do they think I won’t have more posts in the next few days?

. . . am I supposed to stop posting until 2015?

Anyway, here it is . . . not that anyone cares.

Disperser Tracks 2014 -the year that was

That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so.  I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards.   I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way.  That would mean something to me.

  1. They sent me mine some days ago so what does that say about my efforts, and I pay them a $100 a year for what?

They picked several good posts, but where were all the pictures of wildlife? The tours through antiques… stores, and back lots, and museums… and the wonderful pictures that resulted? Maybe they just threw darts. Oh, and then they offered us the wonderful opportunity to join Word Press. Hahaha, no thank you. Still, always a pleasure to revisit the Firefly posts, and make fun of Word Press. Happy New Year!

It’s only a review of the numbers, but that’s OK. I’m working on my own review.
It was interesting seeing which posts got the most views. A few surprises there, at least for me. Some of those posts are long in the tooth, from a time gone by.

I used to be a numbers guy. Now I’m a photo guy. I don’t need WordPress to tell me how pathetic I am about reaching others. Last year my most visited post had fake keywords attached, words like Kim Kardashian, Jetter, naked Alpine skiers, and such. I think this summary is pretty impressive (compared to mine). Im thinking about a new blog, one where I post once per year with all my photos for that year. Like the super bowl, only for photos.

  4. Congratulations, disperser, and best wishes to you in 2015. ;-)

  5. Cool and Congrats! I’m glad you are here! I enjoy your posts, writings, photos, and comments! :-)
You add joy to this adventure! :-)
They sent me my year end review, but I haven’t read it yet. Guess I should do that.
    HUGS!!! :-)

  6. Ha! I typed “rear end review” and had to change it.
    HUGS!!! :-D

I feel like I just won an Oscar for 1st place. Oh, darn, didn’t prepare an acceptance speech . . .

But thanks for the vehicle, bro, that you provide for my many wonderful virtual journeys.
