The first leg of our journey is ending. When you read this, we will be back in port, back in Fort Lauderdale, back where we started our five days cruise.
We will be thinking about getting off the boat (some call it a ship, but it done feels like calling her a boat is more appropriate for the bond we have forged), and making our way back home . . . ten days from now.
Yup. Not getting off this boat; not today. Today we change cabins and mentally steel ourselves for the ten days cruise that is the second part of our journey.
The most difficult part will be facing this every day . . .
Well, not that exactly . . . more what’s just to the right off that – The Buffet.
But, that’s a challenge for tomorrow. Today we’ll enjoy the sunset . . . before our evening feast, coffee, and dessert.
I’ve yet to catch a sunrise, but I will, I will.
We’ve only had a couple of good sunsets, this being one of them.
As beautiful as it is, it feels like there should be more to it.
No, even a tad more than that . . .
Of course, some might argue a more subtle hand should be taken with the photos . . .
Nay, I say!
When nature gives you this . . .
. . . do this!
If you’re gonna see this . . .
. . . You might be moved to just add a little drama . . .
. . . but maybe you feel moved to do this, and I would understand . . .
On the other hand, brother, I might tell you “that’s too much brother!”
Perhaps I would then suggest something like this.
