A bit of boat, a bit of food

It’s late at night, actually early morning, and I can’t sleep. Perfect time for a quick post.

Morning at the International Café, and is not very crowded.

Later is going to get busy, but for now, just a few stragglers milling about.

image

One does have to admit they pulled out all the stops in decorating the place.

image

. . . And the snacks . . .

But, even if you are just ordering a coffee, it’s a nice place to sit and people-watch.

image

Even the ceiling looks nice . . .

image

And yes, you don’t have to stay inside to see nice views.

That last one is a panorama just after sunset, and this next one is another panorama just before watching a movie on the big screen outside.

image

That’s also a panorama shot.  Here’s a single shot of the area.

So, that’s a few places on the ship, spanning from dawn to dusk.

If you put that much pastry in front of me you’d better handcuff me to a railing. Diabetes here I come!

I love all the shiny, sparkly, gold and glass of the ship! :-) And the the decorated trees are beautiful! :-) Of course, the water is always stunning…so blue and so powerful!

I’m awestruck by that gilded interior! Are those glass geese on those two long chandelier-like towers? Whatever they are, they’re stunning!!!
