So where the heck is Disperser parking his behind today? Well, I can give some hints. Photographic hints.
Obviously somewhere warm . . . Palm trees don’t grow in Colorado. Plus . . .
Flowers, wild flowers, blooming on the ground. Still not sure? Here, let me try a slightly different treatment of the floral carpet . . .
Still not sure? How about we look at trees again. Specifically, this one.
OK, I guess that is not much more of a hint. Obviously, I need to give this tree some cosmic treatment, thus narrowing down the any choices of locale . . .
It seems to me this should now be painfully obvious . . . It’s some place where trees grow and merge with stars.
Still unsure? Here are some more flowers. By the way, these are all photos from the Samsung Note II, and all are processed with Snapseed and Pixlr.
I have to tell you, Bob . . . Were I to use my fancy camera for this shot, I am sure I would have trouble getting that kind of depth of field, if I could get the thing in focus at all. There was a breeze a blowing, and that flower was swinging about pretty good.
However, once captured, I sure as heck am going to try different processes. The other “by the way” I want to mention is that I am composing this on the phone, and using an Anker Blutooth keyboard as the input method. This is also I’m planning to finish writing the novel.
Anyway, back to treatments . . .
Not bad, but I thought this next shot was more suited to manipulations. Here is the original shot:
Again, not a bad shot . . . But here’s what I did with it.
I even did something with the cosmic theme . . .
Ah, you say . . . Now I’m getting a pretty goodd idea where Disperser is parking his hind quarters!
Before you take a guess, here’s another flowering plant, this time a shrub . . .
Perhaps this can also use a ‘softer’ approach.
And, of course, other treatments as well . . .
But wait!!
. . . Before I confirm your guess, let me say that trees here are also udergoing their Fall Foliage Color Change (FFCC)!
Now, this is primed for a treatment I first used just yesterday . . .
I like the overlay, but don’t like that it changes the picture to fit the cropping of the original, thus stretching the round moon to something oblong. But, it’s free, so I can’t really bitch too much.
OK, the final two photos before I tell you what you already know . . .
That’s right; as everyone now knows, I am in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
What am I doing here, you ask?
Well, that a story for another post.

I am very impressed with the results of the Snapseed but I don’t think it will work on my PC. Did you use a machine that uses touch screen commands? Amelia

If you have GMail, Snapseed is part of their photo editing toolkit on the PC. Pixlr is also availble on the PC in a couple of versions, some free and some you can pay for.
These were all done in the Samsung Note II (Android platform) but I think they are also availble on IOS.
