Only one person (that I know) of noticed an unfortunate misspelling in my last post (it has been corrected). The phrase was supposed to read:
” . . . when I lifted my legs to get out of bed, the movement triggered a series of cramps up and down both legs.”
I did not notice I had left out an important letter, and the phrase actually read:
” . . . when I lifted my legs to get out of bed, the movement triggered a series of craps up and down both legs.”
Very different meaning. I had a good laugh when it was pointed out to me, and I hope others did too.
Also, because of the mistake I made when I posted Chapter 6, some readers missed the Chapters 4 & 5 post. Here is what has been posted so far:
Chapters 7 & 8 will go live tomorrow morning in a password-protected post.
Here’s my progress so far:
I wrote 745 words yesterday using my phone, and 2,650 this evening, the laptop keeping my injured leg warm, for a total of 13,255 words (per Scrivener).
Anyone wanting to read the novel, please shoot me an e-mail requesting the password, or leave a comment below to that effect.
As a point of information, asking for the password does not mean I will subscribe, or even read, your blog. It just means you get the password. Perhaps I might get curious and check you out, perhaps not.
One other thing.
Last year I did a precis . . . I know some people like the precis. I did it last year because I stopped writing for a few months, and then I was not writing regularly.
This puppy is going to be finished before the end of the month. I won’t have time to write a precis, and the timeframe is short enough to perhaps make its absence irrelevant. If not . . . sorry.
That’s it. This post has ended . . . except for the stuff below.

Please, if you are considering bestowing me recognition beyond commenting below, refrain from doing so. I will decline blogger-to-blogger awards. I appreciate the intent behind it, but I prefer a comment thanking me for turning you away from a life of crime, religion, or making you a better person in some other way. That would mean something to me.
