Right now the temperature outside is 25° F . . . a big change from the last week or so, when daytime temperatures hovered in the 70s.
This afternoon we had our first moisture in weeks, and in anticipation of them perhaps not lasting much longer, I went out and snapped a few photos of flowers that are still hanging on.
While out there, I captured some nice fall-color leaves. Actually, that’s why I went out there to begin with.
The moisture was in the form of light pellets that were obviously unsure if they wanted to be snow, sleet, or hail.
I don’t have the time to post all the photos now, but here’s a preview.
I should have the PC up and running tomorrow, and I’ll do a proper post about my shooting in the almost-snow.
Imagine I have my usual disclaimers and notices below.

That top one is very pretty. The leaves look like some sort of pelargonium.

Geranium . . . still flowering, but I don’t know for how long . . . still in the mid-20s this morning.

You manage to have something colorful in your garden even when it’s snowing/hailing/sleeting/raining? You raise the bar really high for us humans, you know.!
