    I agree about the shell looking like a space alien’s helmet, especially after reading your latest novel (and I’ll repeat here, they better not be gone). I’m also intrigued by the stand you used to place the shell on, so, what is it?

      As for the stand . . . it’s a cork.

        Good choice for the stand. Perhaps you could shoot macros of the cork then add some of your favorite processes. I’m sure the photos would be a treat for a detail lover . . . hint, hint.

          The plan was to have cork figures (using paper clips to make legs and arms) and do scenes with them.

          Still have not found the time.
